Higgins, first superintendent of WPI's Washburn Shops and one of the founders of Norton Company; his son Aldus, President of Norton Company and owner of WPI's Higgins House; and Aldus's son Milton P. Higgins II, also President of Norton Company and a life member of WPI's Board of Trustees.

Abstract

The Guida Collection is a large collection of motion-picture media that was donated to the Gordon Library by Fred Guida on December 16, 2019. It contains roughly 400 works from as far back as 1901, with around 200 VHS tapes and cassettes, 80 LP records, 5 books, 45 film reels, 15 CDs, and 110 DVDs. These pieces focus on Charles Dickens and his writings, and about half of the material are related to his famous novella, "A Christmas Carol."

The Physical Education & Althletic Department Sports collection contains materials pertaining to WPI athletics ranging from 1880 to 2007.
