MS046: Jeffrey Cote Worcester History Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of many Worcester documents from the 18th and 19th Centuries, as well as the 20th Century, including company records and an 1803 Almanac printed by Isaiah Thomas. It includes hundreds of Worcester postcards, some Worcester maps, and various historical objects.
The collection spans the years from 1778 to 1998. The bulk of materials are from the 1800s and early 1900s.
Most documents are in document cases. Large size portrait photographs, matted photographic prints of Worcester scenes, and the Commerce High School newspapers are stored in a 12”X16” drop-front box. Large items, including Massachusetts Spy and some Royal Worcester Corset Company materials are stored in flat files located in map cases.
